Symplectic Elements Orientation: Labels

This short explores the Labels tab within each publication or research output item in Symplectic Elements. Elements uses Labels extensively for classification, enhancing reporting capabilities. The system includes default label schemes and allows system administrators to configure custom schemes tailored to the organization's needs.

Elements automatically collects and applies labels such as Field of Research, UN Sustainable Development Goals (harvested from Dimensions), and MESH labels. Labels can also be added via the Elements API or manually through the UI by searching, selecting, and applying the label.
