Symplectic Elements Orientation: Deposit workflow

Symplectic Elements offers bi-directional repository integrations with platforms like Figshare, DSpace, EPrints, and Hyrax.

Researchers can choose to deposit directly into a linked repository or use Elements' deposit workflow. Regardless of the chosen pathway, updates made in either system are automatically reflected in both, eliminating the need for manual synchronisation.

The configurable deposit workflow is demonstrated using Figshare, showcasing file uploads, optional steps like specifying reuse licenses or embargoes, and the seamless real-time deposit and harvesting process.
