<p>Eighth public release of GRID</p><p>Institutes added from the following sources:</p><p>- Grant data from Germany</p><p>- Grant data from Africa</p><p>- Institutes from Orgref</p><p><br></p><p>Metadata additions:</p><p>- Added Orgref and Wikidata links for ~14000 institutes</p><p>- Imported local name variants from Wikidata</p><p>- Updated to the latest Geonames database</p><p><br></p><p>QA:</p><p>- Fixed a number of relationships from / to redirected institutes</p><p>- Fixed a number of Geo lat / long that were a long way from the address city (as defined by geonames)</p><p>- Updated relationships and institutes in Helmholtz, Germany</p><p>- Updated Norwegian institutes based on recent University Mergers</p>
